Or get it while the gettin's good? And PLEASE, I'm 30 years old, I don't need any mission statement on unwanted pregnancy and/or STDs. Spare me the lecture. This question is purely a spiritual and emotional one.

Now your getting deep on me for a Monday morning One....LOL....All kidding aside I have done this because people have needs and that's that! However, if for whatever the reason she thinks this will keep a link to you then you would be wise to find someone else to help you with your needs (that once again we all have) due to the emotional damage it will cause her in the long run.

Yes. It is a bad idea. You don't really elaborate here, but there are reasons your ex is an ex and not a current. Also, women tend to consider sex and love the same thing. So if you don't want this woman back....you should find someplace else to poke around. Her feelings for you will likely grow deeper, and if you have no intention of going any further than just sex, you are not being very fair to her.

If you both have the same expectations of the physical nature of your relationship, then go for it! It helps to have this closeness with someone with whom you've already had a past bond. But, if one person is doing it in hopes of a reconciliation, then stay as far away from that person as possible.

Pretty much. It can really complicate things, and sooner or later, either you or your girlfriend are gonna start having feelings for the other and one of you might not return those feelings. You'd be happier in a new relationship, I believe.
