I have been dating my boyfriend for awhile now and we say i love you back and forth but i havent really told him how much he means to me. At first when we started dating i figured that it was going to be a two week relationship like all of my other relationships were. But time went on and we are still together. I never used to be able to look him in the eye, but now i look him in the eyes and i just get this feeling that i cant explain. Everyone around me has always been guy obsessed going over board, telling a guy they just started dating that "You mean everything to me and I love you so much" so i have learned from them to never get ahead of yourself. I want to tell my boyfriend how he makes me feel inside and that he means a great deal to me, i just dont want to be like other people, i dont want to let my guard down even if i finally fell in love with someone, i think i m scared. I dont kno wat to do. Should i tell him how i feel deep inside or wait longer? Thanks for any advice.

i failed to metion that he has told me on more than one occasion how much i mean to him. He tells me how much he loves me and that i mean a lot to him... he has never heard the same from me yet.

I think if you are questioning this you should probably wait. are you worried that what you say will freak him out or make him leave? Cause if that's the case I'd definitely wait. That's what I did and I have had a long-term relationship now for 2 years. But I waited until I just felt inside that if I told him it wouldn't freak him out and he would feel the same way. If you are worried he won't want to hear it then wait. You don't know, he could be feeling the same way but you know how guys are. Obviously everyone is different, but I think it's ok to feel the way you do but you definitely don't have to fit in with everyone else. It sounds cliche but do what you feel is right.

Honestly, look at him straight in the eyes and just stare as if your the happiest girl alive. watch his reactions. if hes uneasy or fussy, he might either be shy, or he might not feel the same. if he looks back, and it looks like he has a true passion for you, tell him. wait for the right moment. if its love, itll last. if you tell him you love him, and he doesnt love you back the same, it jsut wasnt ment to be. love sucks, so things like that could happen. but it sounds to me like you two hit it off. pay attention to how he reacts to certain things. dont forget, guys suck so if something goes wrong, its not the end of the world. i dont know how many girls ive known that have freaked out over a guy not worth anything at all..

Whether you tell or not depend on how you see & feel for him. Telling your boyfriend how you feel about him is just being open & transparent. The result however means you are more "vulnerable" if he is not serious about you and you may end up being hurt.
