You asked, so here are the answers to all your questions:
1. Plants, not God. Specifically phytoplankton for most of the oxygen. Research the carbon cycle and photosynthesis. Its a naturally stabilizing system, and I would love to explain how it works but will spare you the details on the assumption that you are capable of learning on your own.
2. The laws of physics: the planet isn't about to suddenly stop or speed up! And what's so special about 365 and 24? Who is to say that life couldn't have evolved to fit, say, 36 and 512? Incidentally, the human body happens to follow a 25 hour cycle instead of 24 if deprived of visual clues like clocks and brightness.
3. Don't know. Who or what started God? Its like asking if the chicken came before the egg either way. And please don't tell me that the appearance of an intelligent force is any less ridiculous than the appearance of a whole bunch of matter/energy.
4. Synthesized from pure energy in the aftermath of the big bang, which just brings us back to 3. Once again, you can read more on the big bang and advanced physics if you feel the need, or use Yahoo to find explanations!

Its like saying if there is heaven why don't christians take up "high risk" events to increase there chance of death so they can enter heaven more quickly than having to wait for time.
Anyway I'll play along with you and answer your question.
You question stems from the theory, yes it is a theory, that God created the univerise. You assume that your view is correct no matter how false it could be. If this was the case then there is the proof, a book no matter how well written is only a book, the bible is no prove that god exists as it is just a book that has a view on the orgains of life, the stories and witness accounts from it could have been made up.
At the moment the univerise is big very big, for a person on a little planet like earth the shear size of it is far to great for our little minds to understand this. It has been proven that other gaxlies have planets that orbit suns. Now the bigger the univerise the more changes there is of life occuring and what it comes down to is that were are very very very lucky. Maybe the univerise was not created from a big band, as the big bang is only a thoery, made its always has been around in one form or another. It don'st have to be clever at all. Take chemistry, chemicals will react with other chemicals they don't have to have be clever or have process of thought to do so but they just do it. It will be one of those things that we will never understand. But in the end all this leads to the question if you have a hard time believing that the univerise was created from the big bang then you can only understand why many people have a hard time being in a god that has always been in existance.

"Atheists, if there is no God, why are you still alive?"
I'm still alive because an untrained pseudo-soldier in Kuwait missed when he was aiming for my head. I didn't.
"Who made sure we all had enough air to breath ?"
No one did. Life on this woprld adapted to the available resources. Not the other way around.
"Who ensures the earth turns once in exactly 24 hrs?"
No one. Gravity and inertia take care of that. The Earth (and other planets) spin because the dust cloud that formed it was spinning.
"If there is no intelligent being behind it, how did the earth become so clever to make its rotation in 24 hrs and revolution around the sun in 365 days ?"
This is just plain backwards. If our rotation was 47 hours long and the revolution was 900 days you'd still be asking the same question.
"Who started the 'big bang' , if you happen to believe in the 'big bang' theory ?"
No one. A singularity expanded suddenly into the universe we know. By "suddenly", I'm talking about a period of several billion years.
"Where did matter come about in the first place ?"
Matter formed as a result of the Big Bang, originally as molecular dust and ultra-dense particles. Take an astronomy course, since the answer to this question cannot be made in a few short sentences.

Why assume that anyone or anything created the air that I breathe? Why assume that anyone or anything keeps the earth turning? Why assume that anyone or anything started the big bang? Because... such complex things would require a creator? Complexity necessitates a designer?
Fine... then God must have been created. And no, you DON'T get to say that God is an exception. You don't get to definitively conclude that every other complex thing that has ever, does now, or will ever exist requires creation and then arbitrarily exclude your deity because it's just "above" or "beyond" or "the only eternal, non-designed complex thing".
No. That's against the rules.
If intelligent design proponents invoke an uncaused causer or deity to resolve this problem, they contradict a fundamental assumption of intelligent design that design requires a designer.
Look... I have absolutely no idea how or when exactly all of "this" started. I'M OK WITH THAT. I'm alright with that gap in my knowledge. I'm sure I'll never know and that doesn't bother me.

Oh gods, you can't REALLY be this ignorant, can you?
<>
Ummm... do the words "LEAP YEAR" mean anything to you?

The earth revolves around the sun in exactly 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds. You'd think that if God had been better at planning, He wouldn't have left those messy extra hours in there.
(This has GOT to be a candidate for "Fundies Say The Darndest Things"...)

Assuming somebody doesn't believe in a God, they obviously aren't going to believe that He was needed for all the things you mention in the details of your question. (It would be like me asking you : If you don't believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, then how are you still alive?)
As far as our the Earth's cycles go, perhaps it didn't accomodate us, but rather - we adjusted to it. Realistically, though - why is 24 hours and 365 days 'clever'? Say we had a 27 hour day and a 249 day year - would that have been 'unclever' in comparison? I'm not really following you there.
As far as the Big Bang goes, one newer theory is that the Big Bang of our 'universe' may have been the result of two branes colliding in extra-dimensional space. (Furthermore, our 'universe' may be little more than a small piece of a much larger puzzle. A single brane among many.)
On the origins of matter - it's not known how [or if] it originated. Assuming God does exist, perhaps matter is what comprises him as well. Biblically, God is said to have no beginning and no end. Similarly, matter and energy [to the best of our knowledge] cannot be created nor destroyed, only transmuted. So, the two ideas seem to match up somewhat.

*sigh* Where do I begin.
First off, I'm still alive because I'm not dead yet. Duh.
You're assuming that your god created everything, this air that we breathe, the water that we drink. Why are you so sure of this? Your god isn't needed for the air to exist. It simply exists. It wasn't "created" by anything except natural forces.
Your "earth turns once in 24 hrs/revolution around the sun" deal is a completely backward observation. Of COURSE the earth turns once in 24 hours/revolves around the sun in 366... the time frame wasn't a pre-existing criteria for this phenomenon. Humanity has made this measurement.
Once again, you assume that a "who" started the Big Bang. Why does it have to be a "who"? Why not a "what", that "what" being universal law? Why does it have to be your Grand Poohbah?
I believe that matter has always been in the universe in one form or another. But I really don't know and I'm not going to claim to know... that's what I believe.
If you want to hear intelligent replies, ask intelligent questions. Think your questions through before asking them. Everything I've put here is the bleeding obvious. Why could you have not done this research yourself?

Ha! You're funny. Answer me this first. If your god created all the planets, why is there only life on this one? If your god makes sure we all have enough air to breathe, why does he allow all the pollution? We do have to adjust our watches, because over time, watches lose time. No clock is ever totally accurate. There was no need for anyone to start the big bang, it just happened. Matter has always existed in the universe - or are you crediting your god for meteors, comets, etc as well? Oh, right, I forgot my Genesis there for a second. He made the heavens and everything in them, but never got around to putting life on the other 8 planets in the solar system. I guess they're just there for decoration, even though we can't really see them? Honestly, man. Do you ask yourself these questions?

We are not going to vent frustration at you. We like to see people like you, because you reinforce our beliefs. However, it is not fair to ask an intelligent answer to such a stupid question.
Just would like to mention that you appear to believe that every single event in this Universe comes from God. Is this a selective type of thought or is it in general?
I wonder why the intelligent being behind all these beautiful events also decided to send us Katrina and likes to maintain millions of people, especially children, with diseases, hunger and suffering.
Why does most of the world still suffers so much poverty, bad crops. What's the intelligent purpose of millions of children dying right after birth?
I am sure you are going to say that God has nothing to do with that. I wonder why he chose some many pedophiles to represent him on Earth.Go figure

People created the gods to explain what they couldn't yet understand. Anything that made their heads hurt because they couldn't grasp it. Why is there light outside? And why for only a certain amount of time each day? In Greek Mythology Apollo rode a chariot of fire across the sky every day. That was how they explained it. Later we found out it's actually the sun. A ball of burning gas.
I can't answer your questions. Not yet. One day the answer will be discovered. Until then, I'm going to refrain from making up imaginary friends like our primitive ancestors did to explain things for me. I'll just admit that I don't know the answer. And we'll keep looking for the truth.
