Not getting electrical power to the tank mounted fuel pump. Where is the Fuel Pump Cutoff/Inertia Switch located and can it be reset?

Power has to be checked at the pump on the top of the tank to be sure. There is no inertia switch on GM "but" the oil pressure switch does this job. The Buick oil pressure switch is one that goes bad regularly. You find it on top of the oil filter area at the back near the firewall. It will have a plug with I think 3 wires in it. Often you will see oil inside the plugin showing that it has leaked and this is a good sign it is going bad. If you get no running of the pump for 1-2 seconds after turning on the key then you might have a bad relay or pump itself providing you have checked the power to it. The oil pressure switch stops the pump if the engine oil pressure appears to drop below a certain point. This does the same thing as an intertia switch in that if the car rolls over it will lose the oil and pressure and also gas so the switch kills the pump. Inertia switch kills the pump from either the hard collision on a Ford, or it turning over as well. Differerent means to the same thing. Because there is a separate set of contacts in the oil pressure switch don't think it is good because you show to have plenty of oil pressure and the guage or light is working fine. Those can work fine and the contact for the fuel pump can be defective at the same time.

You may need to replace the fuel pump. It should always have power going to the pump. Unless you have the original fuel pump from the date of manufacturer then you do need to replace it.

Are you sure it's not getting power? You can't just turn key on and check it, you have to have somebody crank it while you check under car for power.
