My mother's chihuahua was born in 1990 and is still alive and in good health. Her puppy, born in 1992, is also still alive. I think the average lifespan is around 12-15 years. The chihuahua I had as a child died when he was 17.

Toy breed dogs normally live much longer than large breeds. It is not uncommon for small breeds to live well into their teens. I know of chihuahuas that have lived well into their 20's. Not sure exactly on Yorkies but I would think mid to late teens would not be uncommon.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7Su
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Small dogs live longer than large dogs I have heard of these breeds living 18 or 19 years. That is if they get regular vet care, good food and lots of TLC.
