Sounds like you have mono. Read up here and respond with what you have read. I would definately NOT go to school and seek medical attention immediately.

You most definitely need to see a doctor dear. The sooner the better. Do you have a fever? If so don't go to school and don't' talk a whole lot, it may aggravate the condition. I don't' really know from your symptoms...is your throat sore? Swollen glands are usually a caution, but not serious. Can be if not taken care of. Good luck. Feel better. Nana

Don't know what it is but if you went to school I am sure many people would be upset at you for trying to infect them. Mumps are going around again. The fact that you cant really move your neck is a sign of meningitis. Please! Call a nurse at the hospital to ask what you should do. Don't go to the docs or emergency room unless told to do so, because you could have something quite contagious and menacing. But please call someone now!

yea, sounds like mono. my suggestion, stay home from school and try to get to a hospital. when i got mono a little while back, my throat seemed kinda the same. i went to the docter, and he had no idea what he was taking about, gave me a perscription for ameroxacillan and turned out i was allergic, so tings got bad. docters dont know what they are doing these days.. but the hopsital immideately took tests and found out what it was right away. my suggestion is just get to the hospital and see what those docters have to say. good luck and i hope your ok!

I think the smartest thing would be to stay home from school and go to the doctor. You have no idea what it could be, and you would rather be safe than sorry. Good luck.

If you are having difficulty moving your neck, and you can't take it anymore, take a break from school and visit your doctor. He/she knows what would be best for you. Good luck.

er, no.
Go to school and suffer.
We all have to do it as adults when ill and need to work to pay the rent, so get used to it.
