There is one technical point to know that you can answer. Are
the tupperwares mass produced. If the dish is exceptionally
high plasticized, this process is leakable into the foods. This
is increasing in the area of higher salt. For dieters it is not
worth the risk. For fitness experts they would say well under
pressure of convenience, once a week should not be toxic.
Constant use in the most well known test was on a retired
subject over 50 with high cholesterol troubles, the toxic of use
of the dishes at 10 times a week caused swelling of the heart
connective vessel system, making high blood pressure visible.
Generally a healthy person should just limit this action to rarely.

It is bad to microwave things in certain plastics, the plastic leaches into the food, you digest it and it can cause cancer, also if you leave water bottles in your car on a hot day, if the plastic in not microwaveable it does the same thing. And most bottles of water that you buy in the store are made with the "bad" kind of plastic. However most Tupperware is microwaveable.

Food
Some people claim there exist more subtle dangers than the ones listed above. Claimed dangers associated with microwave cooking include:
That microwave cooking causes more nutrient loss than conventional cooking. This is not substantiated by available studies of nutrient loss in microwaved foods, which conclude that nutrient loss is actually more severe in conventional cooking. PMID 2775405
That microwave radiation leads to chemical reactions in the food that are different from those occurring during conventional heating, and that consuming food with such chemicals can cause cancer, particularly due to the formation of suspected carcinogens called d-nitrosodiethanolamines. This is an unsubstantiated rumor that arose from an email. Microwaving plastics has no adverse effect on health[citation needed].

The only thing bad about cooking food in plastic or tupperware is when people don't check that it is microwaveable in the first place. It can melt and then you've got all sorts of dramas.

I have heard that the chemicals in plastics do leak out when heated and can settle in your system/brain.. I dont know how much or the studies on this..
