I don't celebrate Yule for I am not Pagan, nor do I celebrate Christmas for I am not a "Pagan history ignoring" Christian.

But have a Happy- (whatever you celebrate)!

I will be celebrating Yule/the Winter Solstice this year. In most pagan traditions they are on the same day. In others "Yule" is always December 21st and the Soltice is...whenever the true astronomical event occurs. Why? Most pagans celebrate Yule/Solstice and in Norway, Sweden and Denmark the Solstice is highly celebrated even those these are "Christian" countries.

Yes, I will. That is when the sun is reborn. I love that way of looking at it, it let's ya see how fast time will go before it will be spring again.

And the evergreens look and feel like spring now.

I used to hike on the Appalacian Trail. There used to be a place there, where all of a sudden everything was different! I swear it had to be at least 10 deg. warmer but it felt like you could take you're coat of and just stroll along while snow was on the ground everywhere else, because of that evergreen glade.

And not one sound! Never heard such quiet in my life.
