I have just painted my walls a cherry red (its not a bright red) anyway i was wondering what theme to use for my kitchen with this red? i also just installed some brushed nickel pendant lights. any ideas or websites would be helpful especially pix!

Take a paint sample and go look through a bunch of wallpaper books. You don't have to put up wall paper but you can get lots of ideas.

Maybe make your kitchen like an old soda-pop/50's restaurant theme. You could get all chrome appliances and make all your photos black and white for the walls. Maybe throw some old coke-a-cola bottles around. Another idea is to decorate with other vibrant colors you could see in springtime at an old country house with bright flower arrangements and use all light wood accessories. Have fun!!

I have seen some really lovely black cabinets with a red painted wall.
The brightness of the red and the black used together tones it down to work well with each other.
Highlighting each others quietly.
Its also a very Japanese look.. but keeping with a modern look works well, which i also dont mind.

Maybe an italian chef theme. Like include lots of things with those fat little chefs on it.
