Youre not listening to your gut. Headaches with vomitting are migrains. Your son does not deserve to be treated as less than worthy of a pain free life. Migraines are the most horrible things to have to go through and for a child, that is awful. Change doctors immediately and include your whole family in the change. Hit the quack where it hurts, in the pocket book and get a real physician. Meanwhile, have the quack refer your son to a specialist and get the lad help. Best of luck. Nana

It sounds like migraine, but could be from something else. Go to a pediatric neurologist. Keep trying until you get an answer.
I have had migraines for 25 years . A friend's ten year old daughter got them and missed a year of school I and the ten year old are finding some relief from acupuncture . If it is migraine, try giving magnesium supplements for sure. Safe and cheap!

Go to a different Doc. when my newborn son was dying from a stomach deformity - his pediatrition said - he was just having a slow start. He blew us off and I didnt know what to do. I put him against the wall and told him to get me info and an immediate appointment for the best doc in the area to help him...I was never allowed back there....wasnt going any how. The new doc took my baby into surg immediately. He said there was an almost 100% chance he would have died that night. Kids get migrains and there are good meds for that..... Could be growing pains too...my oldest son suffers from bad growing pains and does the same thing...ya just gotta find a different Doc. Give big Huggies to your lil one and I wish you the best of luck!!

You are aloowed to seek a second opinion. There is a reason that doctor doesn't show any concern. Maybe they slept through that class and simply don't know what is going on. Don't let your fear of hurting someone's feelings risk your son's life. Just go see another doctor, not necesarily a specialist because you don't know what you are dealing with yet. Find out exactly what it is/might be from another physician and then go see a specialist.

Go to another doctor! I am 23 years old and I've had the same problem that your son has since I was old enough to remember. Just about 2 weeks ago, it finally got so bad for me, I went to a doctor about it and they said that I get migranes. There are great medicines out there just for migranes (they don't respond to normal medicines most of the time.) I'm sure another doctor could test your son for them (like the one you have, should have already done!), and give your son the right medicine so that he can target that migrane pain and get back to living a productive, successful, and happy life! Get rid of that quack doctor. =) It pains me just to think that I could have had such a simple solution so long ago...

It could be his equilibrium is off, vertigo. Or it could be something more serious like a tumor. Migraines in a 4 yo are rare. Get a new doctor right away, or demand to go to a neurologist.

Yes you should seek a second opinion. As soon as possible. There are several possiblities here; migraine, recurrent infection, and last but not least a tumour. All are treatable if caught early.

You need to take him to a pediatric neurologist now. Have him worked up to find out what is causing the headaches.

Yes, I would think a neurolgist would be the doctor to see. Your GP may have graduated at the bottom of her med. school class,at least it sounds that way.
