I would like to get a special gift for my husband and daughter. It needs to be something that they can do together. they are so close, but now that my daughter has gotten a boyfriend, she is always at his house. My husband misses her very much. I would like to get a gift certificate to some activity they can do together for a day, or so. I wonder if there were other 17 year old young ladies that love to spend quality time with their fathers and what they like to do.
Thank you for your help.

I would have to say, unless they don't like to be active how about paint balling! its great fun, especially if you get to shoot the ones you know, because you will always be able to bring that stuff up later in future conversations! Most areas that offer paint balling offer rental guns and equipment if you don't have any. But be care-full, if you play once your gonna wanna play again, and unless your willing to get into the sport, it "could" become expensive.... However, it's all good times! hope that helps ya!

i think of it sounds like an rather good probability which she could be waiting to embody. South Korea is rather risk-free, very present day, and somewhat, so lots greater western than you may think of. Of each and all the Asian international places, precise now it alongside with Japan could in all probability be the main secure for western travelers. If adults are going whom you believe, there could be particularly no protection reason to not deliver her. it somewhat is costly there - she could understand that. i don't think of she is going to lose interest. She would journey some severe lifestyle marvel, quite if she hasn't traveled the international over before, yet boredom isn't an argument. a brilliant style of Koreans, quite interior the super cities, understand a minimum of a few English. If the relatives she is going with talk Korean, then even a language barrier is a non-difficulty. the better area approximately international return and forth is experiencing the severe appreciation for what you have back abode. 17 and on a visit with yet another relatives is an rather good way and time to thoroughly get that have.

Without knowing too much about their likes and dislikes, I would have to say enroll them in dancing lessons, all daughters like dancing with their dads. Or maybe enroll them in a karate class, then they can learn something fun and dad will feel comfortable with her having some self defense when she leaves home pretty soon. Maybe a gym membership to go work out together. Depending on what state....maybe if by an ocean, you could get them a deep sea fishing trip, those are fun. Or a snorkling trip, also fun. There are so many options.

All right. Well this is the perfect time of the year for a father daughter project.
The thing that came to mind right away was to adopt a family in need and find something to do for them this year. It may be as simple as taking them to do something they are not able to do as a family on a regular basis, like go to a movie, ice skating or go to an event in your city.
They could also plan and host a dinner for a family that normally would not have the means to prepare the traditional holiday meal.
I promise you, if they do something similar to my suggestions, they will have a bond and a memory that will fill thier heats with joy and keep them connected for a lifetime.

Wonder why they are always over there???? Can't the guy come over your house too??? You could keep an eye out.

I would suggest that Dad give her so much time for holiday in a coupon and the daughter do the same thing. Tell each it is what the other really wants. They'll probably want to do what they've done in the past. Most importantly it brings light.

This may sound nutsy, but something like a dance class that they can take together. Sometimes a local college will offer one that is just a few hours long. If there is a local dance school, you could call them and ask if they provide something like that - maybe salsa dancing or ballroom dancing or some such thing. It could be a real hoot for both of them, plus give them a great social skill.

My husband and daughter enjoy hiking, local festivals and bickering at each other. They have a wonderful time and even sometimes take the boyfriend too.
Dad needs to accept his little girl has grown up and invite her boyfriend. Then she might enjoy having her 2 favorite guys around and do more with Dad.

Do they like sports? Theater? Nice restaurants? You could get them tickets to something (make sure you give one ticket to each, so your daughter doesn't get all excited about taking her boyfriend, only to learn she'll be going with Dad) or a gift certificate. Would they enjoy taking a class together? Tennis, karate, cooking, fencing? Good luck finding something; I hope your daughter and your husband will continue to have such a good relationship!

What a beautiful thought! Your family is very lucky!

Maybe a class offered in the community? Cooking, dancing, painting, etc. Just something they can both do together. Or a day of rock climbing or at an amusement park?
