I'm always curious as to why an innocent question like this gets a thumbs down.

Well first of all, we are all sinners according to most religous doctrines. Second of all, those who know they are sinning may realize they need to go to church more than anyone else. In the Christian religion, you are supposed to "love the sinner, not the sin", accept the person who practices something like homosexuality because none of us are perfect, but not accept the sin. There are hypocrites everywhere, but not everyone can admit they are not perfect. (I'm not, I'm going bald :P ). The gambler preist needs to be confronted by his congregation, and forced to swear on a Bible and all he holds holy, if he is not a sham that will eat at him until he confesses. The impregnating preist likewise needs to be confronted and told to give a DNA sample or pack his stuff and get out, even if he isn't the father the issue of sex without marriage is grounds for dismissal and he likewise needs to concede, acknowledge and ask forgiveness and take responsibility for his actions. The lady singing songs of praise may remember the tune and parrot the words but that doesn't guarrantee she understands or practices them. And as for the husband in # 4, does it make a difference if the porn is free or not? I agree it is a shame he is neglecting his family, his relations for his wife, for porn, and if I were her I'd take an axe to his computer and tell him what he might wake up missing some day. (Like I said, I don't claim to be perfect :P ). Are they a damned soul? What is damned? Maybe they are not anything when they die, just nothingness, not missed, loved or cared about, what makes me think any better happens to those who have faith? Well, just faith, only one way to know and we all get that opportunity to find out sooner or later.

Just because these are damned how does that make it that the non-christians are not. Eph. 5,, Gal. 5:9, Rev. 21:8, 1 COR. 6:9, Rom. 1:29
If any of these make a life style of what they are doing then very likely are not really Christians. If they are they will be sorry for their actions and improve. The Lady in the pew, not sure what her problem is. Oh yeah I can not see the gambling as a problem perhaps the theivery though. Porn for free sounds like it might be a lust problem but unless he is acting on it while still a problem not damnation material. The one who got the lady pregnant we will have to see what happens in the end on that and why you sayin he did it were you there. Gossip that one is definately damnation material.

Who said all Christians were saved? There are bad apples in every group honey. And if you're not Christian, you will go to Hell. Circle 1, which is called Limbo for "virtuous pagans" is where they go. That's only if you're a virtuous pagan dear. Sorry about you're friend's daughter, but what's she doing sleeping with a man who's taken an oath of a celibate life anyway and having a child out of wedlock? Check both sides between crossing the street into an argument.
Oh and by the way, the Priest can't spend the Church's money... it's locked up after mass smart one...

First of all it's hard to believe the people you mentioned are saved. Claiming to be a Christian does not make it so. Only God knows the heart, and it doesn't sound as though their hearts were with God.
Second, Christians still sin. So it is actually possible that these people were all saved. One of the most common sins Christians commit is being judgmental toward others.
Christians USUALLY don't change everything overnight when they get saved. But if God is truly alive in their heart, their heart will change, but it usually takes time.
Only Jesus Christ was and is perfect. That's why only He can represent us before God and make us acceptable to God. When you accept Jesus Christ and allow Him to stand up for you before God then God sees the perfect and holy Jesus Christ. All his righteousness is seen in us because we trust in Him. Look at Philippians 3:9.
Anyone who has sinned and is not represented by Jesus Christ cannot enter into the presence of a holy God, therefore is damned. Much evidence exists to support the authenticity of the Bible and that is what the Bible says.

"Don't you know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. AND THAT IS WHAT SOME OF YOU WERE, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God" (I Corinthians 6:9-11)
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (II Corinthians 5:17)
I can testify that I fit quite well into the above list - but not
any longer. When one is truly born again, he turns away from his old ways and begins to live a righteous life. This may be a prolonged process, but if there is no evidence of a moral change, a man is not a Christian. He may call
himself a Christian, but God calls him a lost sinner.

Your concept of 'soul' does not match what the Bible teaches. There is no such thing as an "immortal soul" that departs to heaven...or hell...at death.
The English word ' soul' is translated from the Hrbrew word NEPHESH. Which means...that which breathes. So a 'soul' breathes. That means your 'soul' is you. Breathing...alive.
Can a 'soul' die...Yes.
(Ezekiel 18:4) Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.
At the moment, we all have to face death. But this will not always be the case.
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Your four examples cannot call themselves true Christians.

Anyone who has not found TRUE salvation through Jesus Christ will not go to Heaven, and yes will go to hell. There is no gray area. It is Black and White.
The local priest who gambles, he MUST ask for forgiveness to save himself. That doesn't mean ask and keep doing then ask again, etc. If he truly repented, he would not continue. The other priest who gets the friends daughter pregnant, same thing. The lady in church with scorn, same thing, and the husband who looks at porn, same thing.
God is ALL FORGIVING and will forgive you. GOD also KNOWS your TRUE HEART regarding asking for forgiveness. You can not lie to God. You may be able to portray yourself as righteous to your neighbor, but God can see through that.

Our "loving" god does not certainly degree our overall performance. He does not care if we are solid or evil, he purely cares which you settle for Jesus. you will possibly be a spiteful female, and in case you think which you're following the bible and you're doing each and every thing bible says to do, you're saved. regrettably all Christianities disagree as to what bible tells you to do... some think of getting wealthy is a sin (jesus gave up all possessions) , others think of getting wealthy isn't. some care approximately existence on earth, some thoroughly push aside it as purely a stepping stone for existence in heaven. etc... So it particularly is different from Christians agree in this the two. they have the "dazzling" certainty in front of them, yet by some potential can no longer agree on any of it. is senseless whilst they declare techniques like "dazzling" morality, for the reason that they are divided into many "relative" fashions, and overtly disagree between themselves.

You have such a legitimate point! But you have one error... Did you say "church people" or "Christians"
You will know real Christians by their fruits (the good things they do) because they will continue to grow towards and like Christ. REAL Christians are few and far between and unfortunately quite a few church-goers like to wear the name but not walk the walk.
Yes I do believe the Jesus is the truth, the way and the life, no one will get through Heaven except through him. Unfortunately I do not believe more than half the people in Christian churches know who Jesus is! I am so sorry that you have had to witness nasty behaviors by "Christians" and I will pray that you will run into some real Christ followers... not hypocrites in suits on Sundays...
God Bless

You are looking at the sins of others to justify your lack of faith. If you place your faith and trust in God by the actions of others, whether they be a priest or a lady sitting in church, you will be disappointed. You have sinned too, as well as I ,and everybody else in the world. It will do no good to tell God one day that you didn't believe in Him because so and so did the bad and dirty. He will be looking at you then not them.So each man has to take the plank out of his own eye before he removes the speck from a brother. Look to Jesus for faith not man.
