I have been seeing this girl while living in Italy, she happens to live in London and flys down every other weekend on her dime.....she is head over heals for me.... and has pre-booked tickets throughout New years (when I get home to the states)...So the problem is I want to break up, but she has spent all this money on Airline tickets and I feel bad.....she booked them before letting me know.

It really is nice that you are being considerate and thinking about her before your own selfish desires. You should just be honest with her. She can probably get a refund on her tickets, especially if the flight is not for a while, and it will save her a lot of extra hurt feelings. Imagine her spending all that money and TIME and then you breaking up with her. She will probably be upset but it is best to be honest with her and go ahead and end it now before she gets more involved or you get more frustrated with the situation. Good Luck!

That is going to be hard... But if you tell her first that you are going to be in the states you are going to go down very quickly... Because she will be really upset and hell will break loose after that when you tell her that you want to break up... So Drop her hints that you will not be around next time she vists and if she doesn't get the picture after a while just tell her straight up... say I am sorry and mean it!!!! Then let that pass over maybe a few days or weeks, depending one her mood... then tell her that it has been fun and great with her... but and then go on from there (or something like that). Let her down really gently because if you don't you are going to have hell freeze over for life.... Good luck!

The truth is there is no best way of breaking off a relationship. Any way you do it she is going to get hurt. Just do it in a way that isn't all that mean. At least let her know that you still care for her and are there for her when she needs someone.

She can get her money back, or at least get credit for future flights. Don't feel bad about what she did with her money if you didn't insist she spend it that way. When you break up with her, don't bring up the tickets. If she brings them up, be honest with her that you didn't know she was doing it.
