I live in an apartment complex that is not of the best reputation, I have actually witnessed the neighbors under me doing drug related transactions. I came home this evening and smelled a urine odor or a kind of burning coming from the vents, could there be some kind of drug being smoked or cooked that smells this way? I know it's not someones heating due to the 80 degree weather outside. I have heard meth lab smell like rotten eggs or amonia but what smells this way? It is getting worse.

well, i would definately call the police or something if i was not worried about getting shot in the face...but what you could do is call the fire department and say your smelling strange odors and think it maybe carbon monoxide and the fire department will come to your home/apt to do tests and maybe while they are their you could be like, im scared of druggies below me and stuff...

it is so poisenous you cant imagine
many states are looking into adopting regulation to force landlords to clean up drug manufacturing sites
it will make you sick
call the police then move

The guys are right. 99.9% that it is dry traps. Run a gallon of water in the sink, tub or shower, and flush the stool once a week and the odor will go away. Good luck.

I once heard that crack smells like urine, but I have no confirmation of that.

really, though, i've never heard of anything besides urine that smells like urine.
