I AM A DISABLED PERSON, I would like to know how to transfrom a car for my convenience,for driving?

having good upperbody,i need to depend someone for traveling, so im planing to buy a car and change to hand drive, i dont know much about it,so any one who knows cars like this or knows any one like me who has a car, please inform me that will be a help

if you are dependant on just your upper body... you may want to look up "drive by wire"... it is a type of driving system based more off of the steering wheel than pedals, kind of like a motorcycle's controls, but for a car... there arent many cars out there that have this, and i dont know if you are looking to spend the type of money these cars go for...

Hi, I'm a neuromuscular (quadrilateral weakness). I know there are a number of magazines available. I queried the Internet and found huge lists of info. In our western states there is a magazine called 'Disabled Dealer'. It has local new and used stuff, articles and nationwide organizations. Each major medical area (M.D., M.S., Polio, etc.) has a site too. Hope this helps.
I have a side-lift van and a sedan with a tail-lift. Just depends on what's running and how far I have to go...gas $$ and all that. All the best!

I'm disabled too. I lost my right leg, but I can still drive without any modifications on my car. You haven't said in what way you are disabled so I can't help you. God Bless you.

There are companies in that buisness. Call a couple of large dealerships they will know someone or just look in the phone book.
