To go even further into this... If he says no that if my main fright if he says yes hey I'm up for it... but if he says no I will die and our friendship may just die and that will be really weird..... HELP!!

If you ask him and he says no, a real friend would not abandon you. Better for you to risk it then regret it later

Think about it. If you like him enough to risk your friendship and accept whatever consequence your action may bring between you two, then go for it. If you're still not sure, well maybe you should wait for a while, and see if he shows any signs of liking you back.

Go for it the worst that could happen is that you lose a friend but if he says yes he may be the one for you. Dont be afraid and dont let things get weird

The only way that you'll find out is if you talk to him. If he says no then just look at it as there are other fish in the sea and he is the one missing out. But talk to him. You may be surprised.
