I mean I just had an online free IQ test on the site www.QueenDom.com, and I got a ******* 116 score, the explanation says that my performance on the test was well above the population average, however to me it seems to be really low. But I've always have almost straight As at school, top of most of my classes, etcetera.
So does IQ really defines something? If it does tell me what could I do for increasing my logical thinking, my intelligence or something.
Thanksss

Stop and think about what IQ means literally. It's got next to nothing to do with what you know, but rather, your ability to learn. Someone with a less than 100 (average) IQ can still learn as much as someone with a higher IQ, they will just struggle more doing so. 116 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Don't go by an online test. Intelligence is measured in many ways. Some people are book smart but can't figure out how to take a bus to the airport, know what I mean?

IQ is supposed to be a measure of potential. If you are excelling above your IQ then that's a good thing. Having a high IQ doesn't guarantee anything. There are some real "geniuses" who can barely tie their shoes.

Besides, an IQ test on the Internet sounds bogus to me.

While the essence of intelligence can enable a person to do many wonderful things, the test is just a # on paper.
Ultimately, what counts is what you do with it . .
lots of genius sitting around thinking great thoughts & doing nada.
Make sure you get a life where you DO something.

not unavoidably. Having low intelligence is greater important, in a detrimental experience, than greater intelligence. a individual would be greater vulnerable to do issues not in his or her ultimate interest with low intelligence. whether, different characteristics could trump the IQ ingredient. Impatience, working example, could effect in injury or death regardless of how smart somebody is.

There are people who are street smart & people who are book smart & no ones better. I however, am neither, I am not the smartest person in the world but I don't want to be.I'm 40 & I'm happy in life & although I might not know what fermentation means, I don't care. I know things I have to know & that's all that really counts.

Well, I don't think it will get you into MENSA, but then again, that's about all IQ is good for.
