i have this ex that i love. I messed up in the relationship. she wants to start over as friends but i still have strong feelings for her. I tell her that i still care and she knows this she says she gets mad at me still cause i talk about it she doesnt want to just take me back we dated for 3 years should i just not even try and if it happens it happens or do i stick around and hurt my feelings

Letting go is hard, and it seems you both are in limbo here...everyone is different but what I would suggest is to stop pushing your feelings on her all the time, ease up and just be friends, I know that sounds hard but give it a try. Just be cool for a few months and if something is going to happen it will. Just dont wait around in limbo forever ok?

3 years? I think that if you love her then you should talk to her and stick around. She may fill the same way you do and is scared that if she gets back in the relationship she'll get hurt again. i think you should still try to work it out.

good question I am in the same boat I guess it depends on the person and the way they feel. I have been trying to get through to her but no results , which means she doesn't want me for her own reasons. Time is sthe key. I just go with the flow and don't get mad, WHo needs her, I got god. It is and will be her loss no mine. But the hurt only makes u stronger but not necessarily wanted .

just be friends for a while. it will get better as you go along. it will probably lead into another first date. just stick with it and good things are sure to come.
