i was looking through certain questions relating to some that i had (pertaining to physical health) and a lot had answers saying that water was the key. apparently, it keeps lips from drying out, and it keeps redness out of eyes. i heard it may also help prevent alzheimers. what other little things does water do for one's health? besides keeping a person hydrated :). does it clear up skin, too? i don't drink a whole lot of water, but i should probably get started right now!

Water is awesome.

A lot of research has shown that people tend to be in a chronically dehydrated state. Studies have shown that by simply increasing water intake alone, it lowers the risk for a variety of diseases.

Drink up.

Ryan

This is an unconventional answer to your question but there are several known facts about the need, benefits and healing properties of water on the body. You should really read this book:

This is beyond the facts that the human body's constitution is mostly water.
It is an interesting read.
