It is worse if you don't tell him.

Key word in your question is "politely". It isunnerving to have made a faux pas and have no one tell you. the guy would appreciate it. anyone would. If there is a crowd, stand right in front of him , look at him as if you're having a conversation and say 'Don't look down and don't be embarrassed but your zipper is down. I'll stand here so you can adjust quickly." If no one is around, say the same thing without offering to be his "cover" and let him go to nearest closet or bathroom to adjust. This thing applies to spinach in your teeth, smudged lipstick, a booby showing too much - so many things and it is just common courtesy to help people by telling them soon as you can. If your friend is all the way across the room, you can wave and smile and get over to him quickly, hug him while you whisper the news in his ear, then leave the room together half-facing each other in animated conversation. the point is - just do it!!

Ask him to come with you to speak to him in private. THERE you tell him politely that his zipper is open so as not to embarrass him in front of classmates or co workers.

Just whisper it to him. You might embarrass him a little bit, but it's probably better than having everybody see his zipper open.

I'm a woman and when I see another woman unzipping her skirt, I walk to her and remind her by her ears. I always get a "thank you" in return. Hope this helps. Or maybe you can guide him to a more private place near the bathroom and hand him a note, so he can get in the bathroom and finish the zipping.

This seem very user-friendly at present ! there isn't something incorrect or shy approximately to tell the guy or woman that his or her zipper is down! you could in basic terms tell him/her in in a well mannered way with the aid of asserting : "hi, your zipper is down" ! i presumed he/she would be in a position to assert thank you to you!

I would simply say "excuse me no offense meant but may I make a suggestion for you to go check yourself out in a mirror when you get a chance" and politely walk away.

Just say quickly, "Hey, check your zipper!" Then walk quickly away and attend to something else so he can take care of it without being in your presence.

It's a situation where the person is bound to be embarassed unless he's really thick-skinned about it. Just go ahead and say "your fly's open".

Don't worry about embarassing him; just tell him. He'll feel bad enough if he discovers it later. He'll wonder how long it was open and whom he may have offended. Been there and done that so trust me, most guys will appreciate your candor.
