Yes you would! The difference between the two, is a high school diploma looks better, showing that you went straight through. But, for admissions, it should not make a difference for a community college. Most 4 year colleges may not accept you, unless you had a high GPA in your last 2 years of high school.
So, you go to a community college to establish a GPA and then transfer to a 4 year college. good Luck!!!

Why would you not want to finish high school? Why not give yourself an advantage and stay in school. Colleges prefer a high school graduate over some one who is not. Also few if any good schools will look at at GED. So like I said why not get the advantage and stay in school, I did and got into a good school here in Georgia.

Yes, but you will probably have to take all the standardized exams and placement tests. Most college freshman need to take them anyway.
