Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

The neatest answer to a prayer is to conceive . After two years of trying I was finally able to have a child and as a result have a beautiful daughter now 12. What a blessing.

That my young son's cancer be healed...and it was...I had total strangers write me and say they were praying for him. The fact he suffered no more than than a little nausea after chemo and some hair loss near the end was miraculous...I was dying inside especially when they had diagnosed it as being a really bad type, then it wasn't and the news got better each and every time we went back...and the fact that none of the bad side effects ever materialized was a miracle in itself. I honestly believe it was due to all the prayers from everyone. Those who know my son know that he is a very remarkable boy with many special gifts, and God just couldn't let this be the end for him. Of that I am eternally grateful. There is nothing more I could pray for other than to thank God for listening to the prayers of so many earth angels.

And Don, that's the most beautiful thing I ever heard. That is exactly the mysterious ways in which God works. Your uncle must have sensed something that needed finishing before leaving this earth and that was to pass God's blessing onto you. I hope you told your aunt that story. It will give her great peace.

I purchased a used car. It was a nice car but, not special. A lady ran into me and destroyed the car 1 month after I got it. I do not know if you have ever dealt with an insurance company on a used car trying to get it covered but, the insurance company told me they were going to give me $1000.00 less than what I paid for the car because they could not find a car at that market price in my area and they said basically tough. so I walked right into Church -- got down on my knees in front of the Blessed Sacrament--and told Jesus just what they were trying to do and asked for his help. I no sooner got home then the phone rang and it was the insurance man who said he had just found a car a little ways away from us that they were selling for $1000.00 MORE than what we bought our car for so that was what they were going to give us then he added all the taxes and everything else on top of it. It was the fastest and neatest answer I have ever gotten.

There are soooo many. But, the one that sticks with me the most, and touches the hearts of all who know it is this: When my little boy was dying of a brain tumor that was malignant, at one point, the docs told me he would soon have such pain that no medicines could touch, and that I should pray he died before the tumor actually touches the eyes. My son was 10 and I had another little boy that was 8. My son that was sick was my first child, and myparents first grandchild. SO, this was not an easy time. But, I am of great faith, and I know everything happens for a reason. But, when I heard of this pain to come, I began to pray. I asked God to please not let him have that pain, that I felt I was at a point where I had all I could take and I was willing to give my son up if God wanted him, but please no pain. My son had two brain surguries, was sick for almost 1 year, and never even had as much as an asprin, and the day I ask, God spoke clearly to me, and let me know He had heard and would answer my prayer, because I asked in faith. Even after two brain surguries, my son did not have the look most have after brain surguries, due to brain swelling. He didnt swell up and hve the redness and bluing that many have. He just looked the same, except for the bandage on his head. God is good. We receive not, because we ask not. Faith still moves mountains, and prayer is the key. I am anxious to see all the neat answers you receive. My son did die, and even that, down the road, I began to understand. God took my little boy early, to spare him much pain that was to come to our family later on. He was a sensitive little boy, and it would havebeen too much for Him, so God took him early. We are never to question if God knows best, because He does.

Thanks for the asking, my pleasure to tell. I asked God in my prayer last week to let me know what the person does that He has for me or what kind of person he is. That same night I dreamed that this guy was pampering me, massaging my back, as I sat in a jacuzzi w/ rose petals in it and he kept asking what else did I need/want. That was so awesome and I received it as God answering my prayers and I thanked Him for that. So the next night I was praying and I told God, that I received the dream as Him answering my prayers and I said, but I still need to really know that it was from Him, so I asked Him to give me some kind of confirmation or revelation. And do you know that in service this morning my pastor said that when we meditate on the word after reading it before we go to sleep we set our dream realm. I was in so much awe and immediately began to thank God for answering my prayers, because He didn't have to answer either one of my prayers so soon, He could have had me waiting on an answer both time, but He is soooo faithful and wonderful that He answered them both asap. Now that's an on time God. So I know, really know, that God has someone already picked out for me, the righteous. He is an on-time God.......
God Bless

While I have had many amazing answers to prayer, it is a little thing that comes to mind.

My coffee maker broke, and I wanted a thermos carafe type, but found them to be very expensive. I decided to make due with a not very good one that would be "ok"...

about 4 days later, I received a thank you gift from a company that I had ordered from previously. That very same coffee maker that I wanted, but couldn't buy.

alot of people will say that this was coincidence, but I know God was giving me a love gift. Taking care of my little things.

\o/ always praising, Vicki

Met a woman who I thought was wonderful, made a prayer that I would love to marry her son. At the time I didn't even know if she had any children. We've been together 15 years now :)

I was a very young Christian many years back when I was doing my National Service in the Army.

One night while doing sentry duty, I was caught sleeping on duty by the Company Sergeant Major( CSM): the most feared man in the whole camp !

I was really too tired and could not control nodding off.

The next morning the CSM summoned me to his office and wanted to put me on a charge for sleeping while on guard duty.
It would mean I get thrown into the army prison and that would affect my future a lot.

In my simple faith, I prayed: "Dear God, I need a miracle from you. Please change the CSM's mind so that the punishment be reduced. Don't let him throw me into the army jail. I'll try my very best never to fall asleep while on guard duty. In Jesus Name, Amen."

Guess what. The RSM was there in his office that morning and he persuaded (interceded ) on my behalf not to put me in jail.
The CSM agreed to punish me with 3 extra week-end guard duties instead of jail. Praise the LORD!!

My faith was so encouraged as a very young Christian. I'm still a firm believer in God.:=))

God answers my prayers every single day. Every morning I wake up with breath in my lungs, that's a prayer answered. Every friend, every blessing, every new day is truly an answer to prayer. My prayer is that I may be a good steward of the time He's given me, and that I don't waste any opportunity to be a blessing.
