ok he works at the bank i go to. i think he is like five or six years older than me. I'm not sure if he finds me interesting or not because we never talk about anything personal.I'm very shy but when i'm near him it's worse, my mind goes blank. I don't know wat to say.. I feel as if he goes out of his way to help me though. I don't know why but something tells me he likes me and i should just go for it. And My friends tell me he stares at me a lot. but maybe he is like that. it's his job to help people. gosh, i don't even know his name.. i'm too scared to stare at him... i know i sound silly.. sometimes i even think he is way out of my league. Please help. How do i approach him without making a fool of myself.

The best thing to do is next time you see him just ask him if he'd like to go out sometime. The worst thing he will say is no. Just go for it.

5 or 6 years is not "much older" than you. He could be concerned about dating someone in the work place. He could be shy also and may need a little push. You could ask him if he had anything planned for Friday night? If he says "No", then you say, "I don't have any plans either............... What are you going to do about that?" and walk away.
It is a way of saying. I like you. I am open to the idea of going out if you are. But you are going to have to chase me. The ball's in your court.
