i am 17 and in high school i am planning to drop out since i am married and my wife is pregnant.. i have a good job but i think that school is holding me down....i am concerned that i might have any legal problems....please help on my question
NOTE: please dont comment on my decision on dropping out.

I believe that you have to be 18 (depending on the state that you live in) and sometimes they do offer some leeway (sic) for that if there is a hardship or something of that nature. I applaud you for wanting what's best for your wife and child, but as a teacher (and parent), I'd love for you to rethink the whole thing, maybe talk to a guidance counselor. But you do what you have to do to take care of your family! (Just remember, you're closing some doors for the future without a diploma) God Bless you and yours!

Not sure where you are but in Aust, UK and Europe you only have to be at school legally until you are 15 or 16. You are free to go after that.

By the way, I wont comment on your decision to leave school, I am more concerned that you are 17 and married with a pregnant wife!!!

no you need your parents. i think you can only withdraw if you are um 18 but i am not sure check with your school and see what they say

depends on which country... think you still need your parents' approval... in singapore, you're not a legal adult until 21 yrs. old.

but your situation is certainly shocking!!!
