What are tattoo laws in NYS, can u get one with parent permission if u are under 18
16 in my case i count on getting one when im 17 i think...

if its against the law, how Can i get my self a tattoo? without waiting 18th birthday?

Our tattooist states that NYS law requires you to be 18 years old or older in order to get a tattoo. I found this site for you to check out about the different laws in NYS about tattoos. Hope this helps and good luck!

Well it all depends on what tattoo place you go to. When i was 16 looking for a place to get a tattoo done at they wouldnt let my parents sign for permission for a tattoo, bc they said it was NYS law that you had to be 18 or older...if you dont want to wait til your 18, you can always go to Canada because in Canada the law is 16 and older, But i dont kno how close to canada you are.

yes you can as long as you have a parent there to sign for permission! but think real hard what you want! you do not want to regert it later in life and i have 3 of them and it took a long time to figure out what i wanted !
