There is this guy that I like, and I can't stop thinking about him. No one knows that I like him (even he doesn't), although one of my friends might have guessed. I write about him in my journal alot, but a want to know, am I being obsessive even though I don't talk about him all the time (as one of my other friends does about her crush), and is it unhealthy? We flirt alot and i think he likes me, and all my friends say we look like we're dating. The thing is, I can't date until I'm in high School (next year).

It sounds more like a crush than an obsession. A crush is when you really like someone without letting them know.
An obsession involves talking about someone excessively and trying to get that person into your life and never out again.

It would be healthy to talk to him and let him know you like him, because he may like you too and if you don't say something he may find someone else. Hurry!
