i want to loose some weight around my belly area. not alot just a little and get into shape. and excersises i should do to target that area if its possible. and what should i eat to help and what should i say away from????

You can target muscles in exercise, but you cant really target areas of fat. Sure, areas that are higher in fat concentration tend to lose fat at an appropriate ratio, but you can't really "spot" target fat loss because of hormonal reasons and human physiology.

Stay away from alcohol and excessive carbohydrate intake. Stay away from overeating in general and drink water. Of course, stay away from fried foods and attempt to eat things that will "fill you up" such as fibrous foods and protein.

try crunches (laying on your back with your knees bent, feet on the floor and bringing your head to your knees with your arms across your chest) - do as many in one sitting/try as you can each day - perhaps do this in the morning and the evening
