No, I married him! We respect our differences n realize that as long as we r both God fearing n try to live a good decent life, the rest is semantics.
WHEN will some of u people get it thru ur head that Muslims believe in the same one n only true God that we believe in!? They r NOT "unbelievers"!

A true Christian would not consider marrying a muslim or someone that was not a Christian, believing in Jesus Christ, because that is what God tells us. He tells us not to be unequally yoked. Many thru the years say that means a black cant marry a white. nonsense. God values us all the same, we are equal. But, Christians are His children, and we are to marry someone of the same faith, so we may grow and learn together and teach our children, and be on the same pg. Muslims hate Christians, and want to kill us all. read the koran. HELLO?
Dont mean to sound judgmental. But facts are facts.
So, would I let my faith get in the way of my love for a muslim????
Well, I would not date a muslim, nor hang out with a muslim, and sure wouldnt marry a muslim. Nothing gets in the way of my faith and obedience to God. and thats just what He calls us to do, put nothing before Him. Easy question. I love this one.

Never. I myself is christian and my husband is muslim. We grew up together and it was very hard on us, our different religions came between us more than once, he even had to move away, but we were always in love, and one day we just got together and was talking about it and just said we weren't going to let it get between us agian. He went to the mosque and asked the Iman if it was ok, and he said it was, I just have to respect his religion. I have read alot about Islam and it does answer questions I always thought about. I love my husband with all my heart and I would do anything for him. I love every minute of being married to him. If your love is strong enough to make it thru all the hard times between religions and how family thinks, then you'll be ok. Don't let it come between you, just set down and talk about it, or an easier way, TEXT MESSAGES!!! Because I know how deep it is to talk about it.

If I were a Christian (which I am not) I would be more than happy to convert to Islam for the person I loved. Islam makes alot more sense than Christianity does. Jesus was not G-d. G-d is One.

Sorry, but love does NOT conquer all.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
The differences are too great.
The problems are too many.

Hi bigwhitebarry. God tells us we are not to be yoked to an unbeliever. In 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 God tell us very clearly:
"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?"

No faith would not get in the way although there would be huge differences in our faith. I know Catholics who marry people outside their faith. Faith issues would need to be resolved.

Yes. My faith is central to my marriage. I couldn't have married anyone but a Christian.

Yes. Because my love for Christ is greater then my love for a human woman. No offense intended, but this part of my life is first always.
