Nair and all those cremes suck *** so does anyone know something that works? Shaving in sensitive areas can be painful so I need a better means. And I dont want laser hair removal either.

When I saw the heading, I was going to answer depilatory cream, but I see you don't like them.

So...the second easiest that I know of is an epilator machine. This is like a bunch of tweezers on a rotor that pull your hair out very quickly.

Yes, it hurts, but it is not as damaging to the skin as waxing. It doesn't pull on the skin, only the hair. With time, it gets easier and easier. Just be prepared for the initial pain.

The best ones are made by Braun. All others I've tried have been terribly painful, and sometimes accidentally pinch skin on curved areas of the body, like the arms around the elbows.

None of them should be used in the close bikini area though. The skin there is too soft. For this, I still say that depilatory cream is the best since you can control it, and don't take the same kind of chances as with shaving or the machine.

If however, your skin is not so sensitive, and you don't get ingrown hairs, a good electric shaver might do the job well enough. I hope this helps :-)

I do waxing, and it's great! It does hurt, but at some salons you can pay a little extra for what they call "painless waxing." The pain is minimal. Waxing is good in the way that hair takes longer to grow back than with shaving. Also, in my opinion the finish is a lot smoother. I would also suggest using an exfoliating scrub before you go to your waxing and continue using it every day. It will prevent any hair bumps (though the plus of waxing is that it doesn't usually cause hair bumps). You can also go with Nair bikini formula, or Sensitive skin formula for a creme hair removal. There are also at-home waxing kits, but be prepared for the self-inflicting pain. :-) Then there is an expensive method of laser hair removal. After a few treatments it is virtually permanent.

Shaving is the most convenient, because you can do it at any time, but I don't recommend it. I like waxing. It hurts a little, but lasts for weeks rather than days, and if you go to a salon, they do all the work.

Shaving, using a men's-type electric razor. But make sure that there's no more than a trace of stubble before you start. Men's-type electric razors make a wonderful job and are pain-free, but they can't handle more than the very shortest of stubble.

I really prefer wax above anything, it hurts for a minute, but unlike shaving it doesn't leave you sensitive
