Bad things happen to human beings, regardless of their faith.

I think that sometimes, those who get into witchcraft, do it for the wrong reasons (they feel out of place, their lonely, angry, etc.) and those folks find themselves getting spooked and their minds a little messed with.

If your mind isn't healthy, regardless of your religion, you will bring pain to yourself and those around you as well. The religion doesn't cause the pain. The believer does.

Sorry you got so many unintelligent (ignorant) answers! Yes, bad things can happen, but not just because you become a witch. Many people will be cruel & hurtful, mostly the ignorant Christians (note, this does not apply to most Christians) who will call you names & in the extreme may inflict physical damage. But the worst bad thing that can happen is something you bring on yourself. Magick is not something to play with and spells can (and will) backfire. Read all you can, and don't just decide this path because it seems "cool". Look into every religion that you can imagine. Even different denominations of Christianity. If you are looking more for an Earth based religion, check out Buddhism as well. For some unknown reason Wiccans are thought of as evil but Buddhists are not. Though there are a lot of similarities between the two. Neither one believes in the devil, but both acknowledge the existance of evil (just not as an enitity.

theoretically yes but generally no, I'm not quite a witch as such but I do practice magick, It would depend on what type of energies one is working with ,Some energies (e.g those associated with mars) can be be very aggressive and if not approached in the right way can cause physical harm , this is the same for many Goetia ( seal of solomon) and enochian workings , if not performed under the right state of mind and conditiions can result in fairly serve injuries both physical and mental in nature .

Conflict with other practtioners - physic attack / astaral attacks may occur , a classsical example of this can be found if one reads into the history of the Golden Dawn , one of the members spoke out in way which led to the orders public disrepute for the next few months her entire neighbourhood was over run by black cats , I believe this event was document in Britains m,ain stream press of the time. There have been other fairly well document cases where individuals have suffered physical injury I'm sure if you do a bit of searching you can fiind them

ever you mind the rule of three. i strongly suggest that you read up on all religions before you chose any religion. it is a fulfilling and not for everyone. the unfortunate thing about this path is you are not the mainstream and people very often misunderstand. like anything educate your self, ask questions and make an informed decision.

hmm.. whether a witch or not, we are accountable of our actions and what we do determines if we'll had a bunch of roses or the thorns in tha future

be a witch or not, just be liable to your actions and be prepared of what might happen after the things you are about to do.. =)

It depends on what you mean by bad. You wouldn't recieve some sort of divine punishment (imo) or be burned at the stake or anything. Realistically, I think the worst thing that might happen is a verbal assault from a conservative Christian.

witchcraft is a spiritual path. and it largely depends on what you decide to do with it that will determine what karma you will recieve back.

waht you put out comes back to you. if you put out good positive energy then that will be returned. if you put out negative energy it will be returned many times more.

not exactaly a fair trade but fair and right are seldom the same thing.

Do you mean a good witch or a bad witch? Remember, that you choose to sow you shall also reap.

With good intentions seldom does one cause harm. Blessed be.
