Following Voltaire's advice, I guess we should define our terms. By fundamentalist do you mean someone who believes in God and that the Bible is His revealed truth to mankind? This belief paradigm is central to my life, so I suppose I am a fundamentalist. Oh. And there is one other thing. I believe that Jesus Christ was and is exactly who He said He was. Didn't want to leave that detail out.

Yes, I read Shakespeare and I teach it.
I read Faulkner, and C.S. Lewis, and Hume.
I read cereal boxes, too.

I'll bet if you met me face to face you would like me and I would like you. I'll bet we'd tell each other to lighten up just a tad. What say? Read any good books lately? I recommend Matthew, Mark, Luke...

Heck yeah, I love to read. I read one or two books a week. I enjoy mysteries, thrillers and even a bit of romance.

Did you know there are many Christian authors. This means no swearing or sexual activity. Which means I am not embarrassed when a teenager picks up one of my books and starts thumbing through it. Have you ever read Karen Kingsbury? Or how about Brandy Lynn Collins? Great authors.

I also read the local newspaper and Good Housekeeping. I am human, after all. But I like to focus on good things, not trash.

I've read the Bible through about 3 times, verse by verse, book by book.

But in addition I read the newspapers daily, listen to news on tv to keep myself updated on world and local events, I read Readers' Digest, National Geographic, many types of books eg Da Vinci Code, 5 people I met in heaven, investment books on Warren Buffet's investment strategies, sex books , books on family, kids, education , 7 habits of mind etc, etc.

I do read a lot more apart from the Bible . What about you ?

Do they no longer be attentive to you will detect a verse interior the Bible to help very virtually something? The Bible should not be used as a weapon to sell lack of expertise and intolerance.

Of course we do, silly. There are tons of good
Christian writers who write all kinds of books, both
fiction and non-fiction. There are history books we
read. There are political books we read such as a
"National Party No More" by Zell Miller, "Taking the
Heat" by Ari Flesscher, "Thunder on the Left" by
Gary Aldrich"; we also read books like "Super Foods";
books about sporting players and events like Tiger
Woods; then there are how-to books; biographies,
health books, and hundreds of others.
