Don't feed him table scraps or any kind of table food. Roll up a news paper and pop him with it when he jumps on the table. Also tell him NO in a firm voice. If that doesn't work you may have to place him in a kennel or another room while you eat.

1. Crate Train.
2. Use a baby gate to block of kitchen/dining room.
3. Always supervise the dog.
4. Put the dog outside or in another room while cooking/eating.
5. When you catch him on the table, tell him "Off" and guide him to the floor.
Consistancy and patience are the key to nipping this behavior in the bud!

Ever wonder why a Beagles other name is "Chow Hound" ?????
Hate to say it but there is only one true solution. Confine the dog while food is out!!!
With sometimes as many as a dozen Beagles screaming through our house, we have this one down pat.
When we say "dinner time" the dogs hit their respective crates so hard and fast that they often tip them over. And then we eat in peace.

There are sticky pads you can put on your table. You can buy them at pet stores like Petco. When the dog jumps on them it makes their feet feel bad so they jump off. I used it for teaching my cats to stay off of counters. There is also a device you can buy that makes a loud noise when it senses your dog on the table. This will scare the dog away.

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Learn more http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?6QFw
The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don’t achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren’t putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.
The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.
Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

Spray him with water and yell NO! I would separate him in to another room until he can learn to behave. Make sure to repeat no and that is bad or something like that every time he does it. By repetition we can train our pets to not do things like that. Oh and make sure you don't have anyone that is letting him do it when you aren't home.

When you eat put them in a closed room or get one of those gates so you can blok it from even getting in the room, and if they howl or cry just ignore them, and they will learn!

put on his leash or just say "no" in a low pitch manner. usually, when u try to stop them using a high pitch tone, dogs thought that u where just playing w/ them.

fill a can with pennies and tape the top. everytime he/she jumps up and you catch her/him, shake it. dogs have sensitive ears, so this will startle him/her. and then, as you continue to do that, he/she will relate that behavior to that sound. she/he will then discontinue the behavior.
