If you think they are say how because Im not seeing it? Non seem to even want to talk with other religions. Promoting peace is supposed to be a core of each faith yet many follows dont seem to follow thier own faith. Explain why?

Not enough.
Some of the reasons are:
1. Followers of each religion think that only theirs is exclusively true, so they expect peace will be realized when all humanity come under their tent, while in reality they are breaking into greater number of sects.
2. They criticise each other with the wrong thinking that mankind will accept theirs to be the only truth.
3. They concentrate more on earthly livelihood than on learning and practicing the divine lesson of selfless love in the Holy Books.
4. Political movements also use religious leaders and followers for their earthly purposes.
5. Non-believers also contribute to various criticism and quarelling to aggravate the divisions aiming at destroying religions which are considered as prejudice, superstition, fanaticism, indoctrination, dreaming...
And thousands of other reasons.
However, I personally don't feel disappointed, because the destiny of the universe is in the Hand of God, not in the hands of man. God will cause man to wake up soon beyond all imagination.

No, I think they are promoting more violence and hatred towards other religions. They're especially not promoting peace by always claiming 'we're right, they're wrong'. It just makes humans hate even more.
the could care less about peace, they only care about being right and dominate
