Curiosity is a great thing. It helps our faith grow. If it was not for curiosity I would not be the Christian I am today. A lot of people are young to their faith, and don't want anything to damage it. Satan will try everything he can to turn people back from Jesus. What better time to do that than when their faith is still in its early stages of development. You have every right to be curios, and I wish you all the best in your search for knowledge. God bless you.

There is nothing wrong with curiosity in it's genuine state - the problem arises when someone posts a "question" which is merely a poorly disguised dig at someone or their beliefs. If you are not open-minded to the answers you might receive, don't post the question - there are all sorts of chat rooms catering for people to vent their prejudices. Incidentally, I have not seen any of your previous posts, so this is not directed at you personally.

Curiosity is not a bad thing at all and it will often open your mind to things which the less curious will never find out about.

It depends. Curiosity is a good thing, as long as it comes with wisdom. Curiosity with wisdom increases knowledge. But curiosity without wisdom often gets people into trouble.

Curiosity is the only way to find out the answers to your questions.
I also have asked many questions about the different religions.
Now, you don't have to wonder anymore.

nope, i think curiosity is a good thing,
but personally, i dont bother too much with religion the way you do, because i have other better things to occupy my time with. i also think religion is usually a personal thing or boring, etc for most people.

and i get bored, so i usually think more about the fun stuff, or things i can actually talk about which are interesting : )

If your curiosity is due to you wanting to broaden your knowledge, then no - it is not a bad thing.

I think it shows really if some people are over sensitive, they lack the tolerance that you would expect from religious people.

curiosity is not bad if you are curious and respectful of people's rights and privacy. You don't need to know everything about people - let them surprise you once in a while!

when you are young and start to learn you also start to be curious and when you grow up you remain the same until you pass on You learn to be polite in your curiosity as you grow older and you know how not to offend by being curious and asking the wrong question to cause offence but there is nothing wrong thats how you learn by being "nosy"
