always wonder this one myself further to that not only the ones before Christ but what about the ones that lived before a monothestic relgion came into existence , In mean they wouldn't be in limbo because that just a convienience for something you can't explain , and what Gods such a nasty bugger is he that he'd make millions of soul;s float around in absolute nothingness for thousands of years.. that makes no sense at all

The Bible and the Book of Mormon tells us that these souls knew of the coming of Christ. I believe that teaching goes on after we have died and so these souls are given the chance to accept Christ into their lives. We are also told in scripture that we are nothing without our dead. So I believe it is possible for us to do the baptisms by proxy for these souls that have already past to the other side of the veil. They then have the option to accept or deny that work that has been done for them.

very reliable question - right that's your answer: in case you study 2peter financial disaster 3, you'll locate that even as Jesus Christ became stll "on the bypass", he went to all those who had died to announce to hem that the crucifixion were done and that salvation became a actuality. previous to the demise of Christ, there became no forgiveness of sin so as that in case you sinned, and all did of direction, then you would might want to face and be judged for those sins; now, with repentance, those sins are blotted out and are as if they by no ability occured. God would by no ability be so unfair as to provide forgiveness of sin to one crew and by no ability to a special crew purely because they got here contained in the flesh at an previously time.

They were in a place called paradise, When Christ rose from the dead the first thing he did was to Go to the father in heaven to put his blood on the mercy seat. then he went to hell and have open battle with the devil. And then the bible says he set the captives free they are now in heaven.

Those who put their trust in the coming Messiah were saved and when Jesus was suppose to be in the tomb, He went down to the place where they were waiting with Abraham (called Abraham's bosom) or paradise, and He preached to them and they were then taken into Heaven. Those who did not put their trust in the Messiah and had died (before His death) did not go with the others. They are still waiting judgement. And will go to hell. Abraham's bosom no longer exists. Now if we are saved and die we go straight to be with the Lord.

Nothing will happen to them. A soul is a part of God. This never changes.
All parts of God remain as integral parts of the whole for eternity.

That is seriously a good question. I have nothing to back this up, but I think they're in heaven. I do not believe in limbo or pergatory. .. I've never been taught anything about it. I've never seen anything about it in the Bible. . . not that I"m a bible scholar, but I have done my fair share of bible studies, etc.

43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
