it's just but normal for a real conversationalist to look straight into the eye.
consider it sexy when she started to stare at your lips..
it only means she'd always wanted to bite 'em...aarrrgh!

I believe that you should hold eye contact in the same manner with everyone to show that you are interested in the conversation. Eye contact has been proven to give the impression of honesty. Perhaps with someone you were interested in you should hold a look longer or smile more. But in the work place you have to be careful to avoid improper flirting. Bi sexual or not, you should be able to tell if someone is interested in you- if they want you to know. As you already know, with women it would be much more difficult. If a girl just likes you and wants to be your friend you don't want to mistake that as a come-on. You may find yourself alienated in the end.

no so much eye contact during a conversation means attraction but eye contact without the conversation. like for example in a bar while the two of you are at different tables or even the work place but not working together. now that at least means interest.

Hi,I really fancy a woman at my daughters school, but not sure if she is thinking along the same lines as me though. At a parents evening she put her arm round me, very tight, and had a laugh. At sports day few days ago, she was making definite eye contact, looking straight at me, not looking away when I looked across. She did this several times. When I approached her to ask a question, she was different to when she normally talks to me. No smiles, which is what I m used to when we talk. Sorry to go on, but has anyone any thoughts? Thanks

thats explained by love at first sight. if ur eyes met, and u felt in love with her, than yes it does mean attraction. but u can have eye contact with someone u hate. u noe its attraction when the eyes are longing and full of passion and u can feel the intensity between the teo of u. how bout u take it a step further and walk up to her next time.

Showing eye contact when someone is talking is just showing manners (at least that's what I was taught). But if there is eye contact when they aren't talking then I would say yes.
