This is friends with benefits:

1. There is no relationship involved.

2. You both just have sex and leave. If he is a good friends with benefits, it will work both ways (you can call him for it too). If he is selfish, he will turn you down when you call, but expect you to put out when he calls.

3. You can date whoever you want outside of this and leave any time you want to if you do not like it anymore. Most likely if you are dating, you will have to end the friends with benefits thing.

4. You can hang out as friends, but that depends on the attachment level.

5. Sometimes friends with benefits end up exploring sexually. So he might involve other people that are volunteered to join in, or bring in new experiences, such as positions, toys, etc.

6. Better not get your emotions involved.

7. ALWAYS...ALWAYS use protection...even if you are on the pill. Or you may end up with his child. You do NOT want that. Always say NO to no protection.

That is what you need to be asking him. Friends with benefits has the connotation of sex with almost no strings attached. Is there anything about the concept you have a problem with? Does this mean you remain exclusive? Can he still sleep around? What are you chances of getting an STD from his indiscretions? What happens if you accidentally become pregnant with his child? What is he going to do the help you out. Friends with benefits for a guy usually means, " I get everything I want with no commitment and no responsibility." and for the girl it usually means, " I'm getting screwed and it has very little to do with sex."

It means he just wants sex. If you are friends now, then that relationship basically stays the same and then you have sex. These things don't usually work out. One person may want more and the other person is unwilling to give it.

Only if you are sure you can handle this type of relationship (ie not care who else he sees, where he goes, etc.) should you do this. Otherwise find a guy who's willing to commit.

Just dont get jealous or angry with him if he flirts with other girls or starts to date a girl, anything else goes.
