There's a guy at my company (don't work with him and company is large) who i'm really attracted to, and i think he's interested in me. He has all the qualities i'm looking for in a man and is available. Dating co-workers aside, what are your thoughts on a 34 yr old woman dating a guy in his late 40s? Would love to hear from folks that are or have been in a relationship where there's a 10-15 year age difference. Thanks!

That's not that big of an age difference. He's not "old enough to be your father'. I, personally, date older men because they are usually mature, gentlemanly and more ready for a steady relationship than younger men. Already sewed their wild oats.
Good Luck!

I'M 44 and i get more attention from girls that are late twenty's on up.. In honestly it depends on the individual some act mature some act childish I like a woman who smart and sexy not to mention if they cook... hee he
However keep this in thought a older man does look at age in there future plans of settling down...

Good luck with your co-worker.. if he's not interested in you? Give me a jingle... lol

As long as you are not 15 and he is 30, go ahead, have fun. If you are mature enough to be in a relationship and that you can handle the age difference then have fun. Been there, done that, noting but good memories. Have fun.

I've been in a 12 year difference relationship, me being the younger and it wasn't bad. It can work if both parties are really to give it 100%.
Go for it.

difference between 34 and 48 is rather negligible. Of course at that age early symptoms of "maturity" are starting to kick in. Muscle aches, loss of energy, presbiopia, etc.
At 34 the wrinkles and sags are just starting to kick in.

Hmmm, I know someone that I think is perfect for me except for maybe the age, or I can choose someone closer to my age that could be a wife beater, unfaithful, a total bore, a real fixer upper that I would not be as happy with, but would be more acceptable to strangers that I couldn't care less about. Misery or a shot at happiness.... That is a hard one to decide.

I'm 56 and my last girl friend was 40. We would still be together if I didn't have to move away to take care of an ailing family member. We are still good friends.

As the 90 year old said when advised of the fatality rate of May/Dec relationships

If she dies, she dies.

GO ahead no one is getting younger

its all good, it would be a little weirder if were the 20 and 35 sort of thing, but lots of people have big aged gaps in their relationship
