I have both cats and dogs. I would choose a cat over a dog any day. Cats are sooooooo much better in almost every way. I would list all the things but it would be too long and I am lazy.

i cant speak for everyone, but I live alone and have a busy, ever-changing schedule. I couldnt keep a dog because I wouldnt be able to be around enough or at regular times to let him out (plus I have a tiny apt.)
Having a cat, or 2 in my case, gives me something to come home to, they help me when I get stressed out, by just laying with my and purring and loving me.
I just love having them around. I dont feel quite as alone as I would if I didnt have them, theyve become like kids to me. I dont know what I would do without them, honestly

Because they are way smaller than dogs and are self sufficient. I don't have to run home and get up in the early morning hours to walk them to go to the bathroom. I can go away for a day or two and not have to worry.

I believe the reason why so many people love cats is because they are so darn cute and because they are very affectionate. dogs are also but cats are small and they don't drool.........

they are sweet, smart, independent. just great animals to have.
some people like dogs, some people like cats. all subjective.
