this has bugged me for years..why men can't be honest n jhave to screw with your head, especially when ending a relationship! why??

good bloody question..yes thats one thing that bugs me..just wanna bang my head against a brick wall sometimes!!
sometimes i know what they are thinking but they wont open up and tell me..it really does mess your head up..must be their missing chromosone in their brain!!x

Because many men, like many women, have ulterior motives. If they say what they really mean, the one they are talking to would know the truth and run the other way instead of being manipulated into whatever the ulterior motive might be. And with men, it is generally only 1 thing.

Women are guilty of doing this too.
It is probably better to tell a white lie to save someone's feelings than telling the truth.
Would you honestly want to be told 'I'm dumping you because I've found a much better specimen who goes like a steam train and doesn't whinge all the time' or something similar?
I think not!

I dated this guy and he never said how he felt I heard I miss you, but he never said anymore. We dated for 2 years and a half I held on by assumptions deep down I knew how he felt but sometimes you just want to hear it. My life is complicated and at some point i got tired of trying to figure him out. But its strange you talk to an older man they have no problem saying what they mean I think it has to do with maturity.

why do women always date stupid jerks? answer the one, and you will answer the other. the problem is the men you are dating. choose to date quality men, and your problem will go away. There are plenty of honest, kind men, you women just choose to pass them over for the "bad boys." and then whine because you are treated badly - so whose fault is this really? choose good men, get good results. choose bad men, get bad results. quit your whining and go find the nice guy.

because they are men. and most men have no back bone and take the easy way out they tell us what they THINK we want to hear (bit down on the man thing at the mo if you couldn't tell )

alot of 'people' do it.
its what some 'individuals' do..
i tell girls straight when i dont feel the same about them.
so not 'every guy' does it. girls do it too.
find a nicer more down to earth guy..
just accept that he is trying to finish it in a way that he feels is best.

Because women go nuts when men tell them the truth. You want men to be all "touchy-feely" like a girlfriend, we're not like that and it's foolish to expect us to be.
