hi..my mom told me that if i eat more citrus fruits like grapefruit..my skin would get healthier. thus reducing the chances of getting ginormous pimples. i was wondering if this is true? and how do you actually get nice flawless skin without proactive? i use acne free it seems to be working..py face is gettin better.. but still skin care tips would be appreciated lots! thanks!

The best thing you should do is stop eating oily foods, or eat traditional Chinese cooking, because long ago, China did not have a lot of oil, so the Chinese used it sparingly, such as stir fry instead of plain old frying.

I don't know about eating grapefruits, but just washing your face in the morning and at night can reduce your pimples. It also depends on the types of food you eat. Fish, like tuna, contain omega 3 which is a chemical that can cause pimples or acne. But scrubbing your face with soap and warm water can help. There are also skin ointments you can try. I do it everyday and my friends have told me it works so much better than just waiting!

Well first of all, it looks like you're having an allergy to grapefruit. And if you do have an allergy to grapefruit, one thing you could do is stop actually eating grapefruit but maybe purchasing grapefruit-flavored water or something that doesn't actually have grapefruit in it but tastes like it.

proactiv doesnt work. and about the breaking out depending on what you eat, its just an old wives tail greasy foods dont make you break out. find out what kind of skin you have (oily, normal, dry) then pick a face wash based on that if you have oily use an astringent the way you find out is just dont wash your face for a couple of days then feel it.
