I have a 91' Nissan 300ZX . What would be a good Nitrous system to put in it? The car is a Twin Turbo.

Well, I wouldn't be the first person to say "no" to nitrous but...I would recommend against it. You have the VG30DETT engine which is strong enough alone. Use the money you would buy the nitrous kit with and add some performance upgrades other than spray. Nitrous really stresses the engine and with your older car it may cause some kind of catastrophic failure.

If your absolutely bent on spraying your engine then check out Nitrous Express and Zex...those two companies have the best nitrous kits on the market.

Avoid NOS by Holley and Venom kits. They are poorly designed and will most likely result in failure.

in case you utilize an American kit, advise STRONGLY you double up on the nitrous solenoids (2 in sequence) in case you think of roughly making use of a controller. NOS / ZEX etc each particularly use business solenoids which in basic terms can not take care of pulsing without speedy positioned on (that's whay they sell "seal alternative kits"). in the adventure that your nitrous solenoid starts to leak once you're parked up then all you lose is your tank of gasoline. If the solenoid starts leaking once you're driving, wager who starts working lean. it quite is the working leans that kills maximum engines with nitrous, no longer the actual ideal use of the kit. in case you will use a unmarried shot (no controller) then the cheapo NOS / ZEX solenoids will do the activity. in case you will use a controller, evaluate making use of an English pulsoid from Highpower systems, crap call yet their pulsoids have a life-time assure and that i've got now used mine for over 4 years easily - interior of which I particularly have pumped by way of around 500 - six hundred LBs of gasoline on a hundred - a hundred and fifty BHP jets. It seems such as you have a large setup, please do no longer knacker it for the sake of a cheapo business solenoid with a rather sticky label on it - purchase a first rate one,. regards Mark

Most 16 year old engines will not stand up to added power. The twin turbo all by itself is good for almost 400hp with bigger intercoolers and boost control and ECM modifications. Hey if your set on exploding your $6,000 dollar engine go right ahead. I personally would not add power to a engine that has lots of miles.

Try Zex, as they are easier to work with.
