December and January are full of holidays celebrated by various religions and cultures. I asked this about a month ago and was promptly deleted, so I'm asking again.
What upcoming holidays do you celebrate, and in what manner?

Christmas and Eid al-Adha. :)
Christmas with my family consists of the family gathering for a feast and exchanging gifts. Pretty traditional. My folks decorate their house, but I don't do mine up like that.
Eid al-Adha is actually not that big a deal to me, because I don't know any other Muslims to celebrate with, and there is no mosque around here. Probably do some reading online before then and come up with something for me and kids.

Dec -Jan: Christmas, New Years.
Time with family, friends. Eating! TV/movies. Phone call to my Son. (Then, I get two weeks with him, so he picks Dec:) Great Decembers!)
Dec 7th - Pearl Harbor I have a quiet moment. (I was stationed there, on 2 subs, in the 80's.)
Boxing Day, I should but never grew up knowing about. Hmmm.
Winter soltice - nothing, watch the news for any stories. Note it. Stonehenge should be busy.
That's about it.

Christmas. :) Observance of the birth of Christ. And yes, yes....I know it's not the real date. I like to decorate my house, because it's festive and fun. Of course in church we sing carols and we study the nativity story all over again. It's always a time of great joy and fun for me. My family is grown up, my mom and dad passed away, so we don't give gifts anymore. It's just a great time to think about Jesus and how much I love Him.

i celebrate most Christian holidays with my family .. tradition with Christian family
my religion however does not have dates as such that we celebrate
we do respect some dates throughout the history of spiritualism though
the Fox sisters was the beginning of modern day spiritualism
which was March 31 1848 ... and this date is remembered

Why would they delete that question? In my belief we don't have
religious holidays they are not helpful to finding our true life purpose and as such no more than a man-folly

I celebrate Solstice, as I did Samhain. My family celebrates Christmas, so I'll be at their house celebrating with them as well.
