Only if I need to get a different size, and I get the same design and colour if possible. As to re-gifting... Yeah sometimes. If I get a gift that is really not me I leave it in the box with a name tag of who gave it. Then I may give it to another it will fit, but only if it is a person the original giver doesn't know.

some people give you a gift with a return or exchange receipt...if don't...keep the gift and re-gift in later occasion to a complete different person

I'll exchange gifts that people give me. There's no sense in keeping something that I won't use. And if i cant exchange it, I'll find someone who wants it. But i wont give it under the pretense of a gift. I don't understand wasting something for the sake of politeness.

No, I wouldn't return it to the store if I didn't have the receit and just keep it and re-gift it to someone.

Absolutely not. I might pass something on to someone who would have more use for it than I would though.
