Muslims share in common with jews:

(1) They worship one God
(2) Both abstain from eating pork
(3) Both Eat meat slaughtered in God's name (Kosher/Halal)
(4) Law: Eye for an eye
(5) Both face Holy cities to pray (Jerusalem/Mekka)
(6) Semetic languages are similar (Hebrew & Arabic)

According to these and others, Muslims have more in common with jews than Christians do with jews.

What are your thoughts?

I'm a Muslim and everything you have stated is true. Christians are supposed to worship like this too but somehow they interpret the bible how they want picking and choosing what they feel is necessary in there worship and what is not.

You did leave out one other thing we share, male circumcision.
Which Christians are supposed to do also but don't......

Frist off the Jewish understanding of a Eye for an eye is not litteral rather the person pays the value of the eye that is lost baised on several factors.

but yes just how Muslims have Shirah Jews have Halacha

You are right..I am Muslim, and you are Correct.

Islam and Judaism have a very linked history. To make a long story short, Islam is not a New religion--but rather a continuation of the religion of the Prophets Moses, King David, and Abraham (all of these are considred Prophets to the People of Israel)

Islam believes that the Torah was indeed sent by God, as well as the 10 Commandments (give to Moses)..The difference is that Islam believes that the Children of Isreal (the Jews) began to change the words of the Torah, rebel agianst God, and kill the Prophets. The Jews also did not accept Jesus as a Prophet...Therefore, Muslims believe that around 600 AD, God sent a last Prophet, Muhammad as a Messenger and warner to the Jews and all of mankind. The people who believed were called Muslims, and the Jews who did not accpet him remained as they are today.

Christianity took certain ideas from the Jews that Islam did not, and vice versa.

The values taught in Christianity (specifically American Christian values) are closer to Jewish values. America was founded largely based on values from the Jewish Bible.

Christianity believes in the authenticity of Jewish Holy Scriptures (Tanach). Judaism and Christianity both share belief in the God of Israel. These are essential things shared by Judaism and Christianity, but not by Islam.

What you said is correct.
There is one major difference, though...
Jews & Christians worship the same G-d. That's why it's referred to as a Judeo-Christian value.
Muslims worship a moon diety.
