Be honest with the girl that you are dating (before you end it)! She will have so much more respect for you if you tell her straight up whats going on. She may be upset at first, but in the end, she may not be as heartbroken, as she would be if you just break up with her, and date her friend without her knowing. Besides, if your girl and her friend remain friends, then you will still have contact with her, so end it right! She'll understand.

Always be honest and truthful with everyone. If you are not honest then the other person will never have faith in you. Tell your girlfriend that you just want to be friends and that you think she is a good friend to you. Don't cut her out of your life if you want to keep her friendship. As to her best friend meet the girl alone and start talking to her about something that may interest her. Let nature take its course but do not tell her you are in love with her because she will not be able to handle it. Give her time to like you then when the time is right you can both tell each other you are in love.

I would have to know a little more about the situation. How did the friend enter into the picture.

I'm betting that you will not end up with either of these two. It's such a sticky situation that you will want to cut the cord eventually. Be sure to have a longgggg cooling off period before jumping into the next situaiton.

ouch, give it some more time with your current girlfriend, you might find out that it might just be physical towards her friend. if you find out that it is not physical, you will need to realize that you will make your current girlfriend mad and probably hate both of you, so make sure you can accept that. and if you make the move you want to make sure that you girlfriend has feelings for you too, otherwise you are just asking for a crazy headache...hope that helps

The honorable thing to do is to be honest and take a break from the relationship.
