I never had time for men who I thought were not intelligent. Can't we get along?

I don't think they're all intimidated by intelligent women; however I do think that those who had mother's that weren't bright might be more inclined to seek out women that are like their mothers. If you find a man with a smart, established and strong mother I am sure he will be very interested in an intelligent woman. The mothers/women that raised the men we date are VERY different than the women we have become today. On the other side of the coin, men do like to feel needed in some ways. So if you're an intelligent capable woman, that's great!; but be sure to let a man be a man and let him be the one to change the tire once in a while.

It is hard to control or lie to an intelligent woman and men are controlling and liars, but the good news is not all men are like that, there are intelligent men who appreciate smart women because they too have no time for unintelligent women.

Because the male psyche is normally geared towards competition, but not with women. Women are prizes for winning competitions with other men. So when a woman seems to be smarter than a man who thinks this way, it's confusing. He senses that he should enter into competition with her, but since she's a woman, he can't. After all, she's supposed to be a prize, and therefore he gets confused. So he freaks out a little, but tries to hide it. Thus he appears to be intimidated.
Or maybe he just has a poor self-image.

Only stupid men (or insecure ones) are intimidated by intelligent women. I happen to think that intelligent women are _really_ sexy, but I realize that I'm a minority.
OTOH, women who assume that all men are their intellectual inferiors solely by virtue of gender, that's a major turn-off.

Too many reazons, Mens don't like intelligent woman because at they macho ego. They want to be the smartes always is what is on their mind...So they feel less macho with a smart woman...
