God does not let children starve, because of sin in our land, we have starvation. " If my people which are called by my name would humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, I'll forgive their sins, and heal their land." There in lies the remedy for starvation and anything else that ails us, it's because of sin, and unless sin be mortified, we will always have situations that make it look like God doesn't care, but he has given us the remedy for all manner of famine and disease. When are men going to start applying it to their lives.

God don't let people starve we the people do god is supposed to be inside us enough for Him to work through us...Trusting in us and our love for one another...He rains own the earth for us to grow what it is we need and he gives us all the food we need but the world has gotten greedy...not God.We are so self consumed we cant even see it.And the funny thing about it is that we cause all the wrong that is with in ones self...You have no brain activity...Thinking the way you do...If each person own this earth would come together and get it done what it is that needs to get done then we could feed the hungry and make sure that the homeless had homes and we were all equal...But know we give our money to the rich and we the people keep them rich....So dont you blame Our God you blame us all we the people of the world...We have become a self consumed nation because we keep turning own God instead of taking the blame...If we the people would gather like some do at these rich singers concerts and each person gave 10.00 to feed our hunger and build homes for our homeless..we could get it done...But know we the people just keep blaming God for what God expects out of us...So know I dont agree with you.We have millions of people that throw away enough food to feed the hunger...It is people are lazy and dont want to take a place in this world....So get a grip and please stop blaming God and I never once heard you even mention Satan being behind the ones that dont care and are lazy....God Bless the Confused...And The U.S.A. and all

The truth is and im sad to say it but you are just a foolish person who wants to blame God for every thing you can think of that is tragic! You should really stop worrying about blaming God for every thing you can, and since you seem to be so concerned with starving children all over the world you should start takinf some of your earnings and feed them. Why is it you dont do that? How about trusting that God is in control and stop worrying, and start controlling your mind by accepting Jesus as your LORD AND SAVIOR!!

God doesnt let kids suffer. People do. How many people here in america have 2006 brand new cars and the best of designer clothes and how many people buy food that goes to waste. In most religions I know of people are told to Support the needy-- to take in orphans, to give charity.... If it wasnt for many religious charities MANY MANY more of those children would starve. There is not only good in this world. There is evil. This is not paradise here.

Does he? Or do men? Looks to me that men believe that they know more that God and tell him to get out of the way. Men don't care much about the cost of their actions on the lives of others. So when you point the finger of judgment at others look at your hand. There are 3 fingers pointing right back at you.
If you don't see what I do to reach others and the care shown to them does it mean that I don't do anything? No. What I do because of what I believe by faith are not done for show but done for the things that I hold dear.
Fact is that the Christian community gives more to help others than any other part of the community. Liberal communities look to the government so they feel the government should do it and then they don't have to. That is a fact that came out in the media just last week.
The real difference is a person that is faith full believes in putting others before themselves. Treating others in the manner in which they want to be treated, Loving their neighbor and loving their enemy. Having compassion (concerned passion, concerned love) for others. By faith these are the things that are the model of my beliefs and they are the things that I aspire to. The things that I do are not for public view but are for the faith that I proclaim. These are not done to defend what I believe. To question it means you have not the knowledge of what I believe or why I believe it. Your accusation are baseless and you have completely missed what is being done.

Man lives off more than food alone. I and my mother have been through periods of time when we barely had food, slept in a car, and lived in a motel. Do I blame GOD? No, because he sustained me. In fact, around the time when that happened I became a christian. Even today, we are not rich, but I could care less if I were starving, I need GOD only. Whatever GOD wants me to go through, I will go through! PEACE and may GOD bless you!
P.S. I do agree with others that say it is man's responsibility to care for the needy! :)

Your question explains nothing; it is merely posing as a hypothetical question.
There are Christian charities that operate in Third World countries where people can "adopt" a child. There are numerous charities that aren't even Christian based but are serving God's children (i.e. Doctors Without Borders).
I believe that you need to have your own head examined before jumping to such conclusions. You have no proof to support your opinions.

A very good question. However, I think God is saying:
"Why do men let the children starve, when I put enough food in the world for everyone and then some?"
Let's not blame God for what we are doing in our selfishness.

Who are you to try to understand the creator's plan?
It is all for the Glory of God...just look at the old testament.
If you are really concerned about saving starving children, why not get off Yahoo Answers and google up a nice charitable organization to donate your time and money to?

Why do WE tolerate brutal dictators who starve their people? Why do WE tolerate all the cruelties of the world?
So what do we want God to do exactly?
Smite all the bad people who use starvation to gain power?
Smite all the bad people who steal what is meant for the hungry?
Smite all the people who kill or steal?
Does God stop there? Why not go ahead and smite all the people who are involved in any illegal activity?
Smite all the people who are unkind or ungrateful.
Really, since we seem uninterested in making a better world, how much control do you want God to seize?
