Hi "Saltless..."

Actually, unsalted are better for your health but they can taste a little dull, I agree.

Or, as suggested, toss them out for the birds and squirrels who shouldn't have salted peanuts. They would be most appreciative, I'm sure.

You could bake some peanut cookies with them if you are creative. Or top off a green salad with them.

What I've done in the past (before I decided to watch my salt intake) is to put about a drop of vegetable oil (or peanut oil if you have it) in the container, add about 1/4 tsp salt, and shake or stir the little legumes. Should be okay. If you want to get adventurous, you could sprinkle some jalapeno sauce in there instead of oil and create some zippy peanuts.

This is a culinary challenge for you! You may come up with a wonderful combination that you could market and make a billion dollars.

Have fun.

I would try very lightly coating the peanuts in veggie oil...sprinkling on the salt...then roasting them in the oven for a very short time. (they have already been roasted?) Other then that you could just throw them away and start over! lol This time, read the label.

Ok... seriously.. my friend... just because you BOUGHT them .. does that mean you must INGEST them, regardless of taste... For goodness sakes man!! Might I suggest you toss them out your back door as a treat to your squirrel friends and venture out to the same store and buy salted peanuts??? Now.. doesn't that sound a lot more animal friendly and like a LOT less 'work'. Good luck on your salted peanut adventure.

SWEETIE, BUY SOME POPCORN SALT FOR THOSE PEANUTS. POPCORN SALT IS GROUND REALLY FINE AND WILL STICK TO THEM WHEN YOU SPRINKLE IT ON THEM. IT SHOULD BE IN THE SPICE AISLE AT YOUR LOCAL GROCERS.IF YOU CAN'T FIND IT THERE, GO TO McDONALDS AND GRAB A FEW EXTRA PACKETS OF THEIR SALT AND PUT IT ON THEM. IT'S THE SAME THING! ENJOY!

Try adding a little olive oil and sprinkling with salt or even garlic powder.

If you have something like a coffee bean grinder, whizz some salt around in it until it's pretty finely powdered.

_That_ should stick.
