I was test driving an Infiity I30 2000 priced at $9,500 with 135,000 miles on it. I was told an Infinity would go at least 200,000 miles.
Car Facts show that there was only one owner, no accidents, salvage, repairs and so on. I am concerned about buying this car because $9,500 is a heck of an expense when you are not sure how good an engine really is, or how many miles it will go.
I did ask for a print out on the electrical system and so on, which I will get tomorrow. One concern was when we stopped to get gas, the car stalled after I started it again. I stopped and started at the lot and it happened again. They assured me they would fix the problem. I was also told that the key for the ignition was not programmed with a chip in the door and that was likely why this was happening. Iam not sure I believe this.
If anyone can tell me more about the Infinity I30 yr 2000 and help trouble shoot the above concerns it would be of great.
Can I get back a down payment if I need to?

Overall it sounds like a nice car, till you pointed out the problems...I personally wouldn't buy it. 1)Too many miles for the price. 2) Stalls when shut off then restarting, 3) Possible programming with key fob?? 4) No warranty.
Yes, you can get your down payment back, as your not buying the car.

Avoid at all cost!!!!!!
It's a good thing the problem surfaced during the test drive or you'd be stuck with a lemon for the next 3-5 years.

I would not buy the car too many miles on it you can find with less miles on it for that price. and in better shape.

Too many miles and very expensive. Get it very cheap or look for something else.
